I did not stay at the hotel myself. I paid for a friend because her mother was hospitalized in Reading and had emergency heart surgery.

The friend reported that everything was very nice. No complaints.

It was convenient for our purpose.

The elevator smelled like smoke.

For the short time we were there, we would probably stay there again. It was suitable for our needs.

Good coffee.

Bathroom was disgusting.

I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay here again. I know it is the Econo Lodge but I would at least expect a clean bathroom. The shower was absolutely disgusting looking. The AC also was so loud that we had a hard time sleeping at night. There is neither pool nor restaurant on site. The staff also was no help in directions or in things to do in the area. We had friends staying next door at a different hotel which was booked, whom experienced a different level of service at a lower price. ...read more
